If you're looking for something nearby you can stay on campus and grab a bite at The Brew Kettle Canton and if available take some swings on their Top Golf swing simulators. You can also take a quick drive down the hill to Woody's Root Beer Stand for an old fashioned drive-in experience where you don't leave the car. You can grab a burger or hot dog and you must wash it down with a homemade root beer! They are open April-October and don't forget your cash because they are cash only. Across the street from the museum you will find Jerzee's Sports Grille, a sports bar with a robust menu and sports on every screen! Be sure to check the specials board if visiting on a week day as they run weekday specials including a wing night on Mondays that you can't beat!

You are also just minutes away from Downtown Canton which features some great spots like Bender's Tavern, an upscale seafood restaurant with ties to the beginning of the NFL; George's Lounge, where burgers are an art form and live music is a regular feature; or Basil Asian Bistro, which offers 23 stir-fries along with a variety of Pacific and Southeast Asian dishes. A few minutes in the other direction is the Belden Village area which features many great food options such as Bubba's 33, Quaker Steak & Lube, Roosters Wings, and much more!

The quest for adventure is plentiful in Stark County, and a great place to start is by choosing a nearby Stark Park and setting out on a hike, bike ride, or wildlife-watching adventure. A great nearby town to hit for adventure is about 30 min down the highway in Alliance. For some family fun you can head to Beech Creek Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve where you can find outdoor adventure year round along with a robust schedule of events to attend alongside your visit to the Hall. You can also explore 334-acres of nature at Deer Creek Reservoir or hit Walborn Reservoir and rent a kayak, canoe, or paddle board for some fun on the water. Another adventure in Alliance is the Raptor Hallow Sanctuary, a non-profit organization that provides refuge for birds of prey, reptiles, mammals, and other birds that are unable to be released back into the wild.

In between Alliance and Canton you can pick your own apples at Arrowhead Orchard which features other you pick opportunities depending on the season. Just down the hill from the Hall of Fame you will find Stadium Park which is a fun nearby option for an afternoon walk with a scenic view of the West Branch Nimishillen Creek.

The Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail also cuts through Stark County with 26 miles of trail known as the Congressman Ralph Regula Towpath Trail. Start your adventure at any one of the 13 trailheads to enjoy scenic views of forest, farmland, and historic towns along the Tuscarawas River!

The quickest place to grab a cold one is right next door at The Brew Kettle Canton which as mentioned above can be a fun stop after the Hall with their Top Golf Swing Suites! A popular spot in the Belden Village area is Fat Head's Brewery which features a robust list of beers that are always changing with the season. Downtown Canton also plays home to multiple breweries with Muskellunge Brewing Company, an award-winning Independent Craft Brewery that names their beer after freshwater fish and local lakes; Starflyer Brewing Company, a family-founded craft brewery with a mission to “light up” the local beer scene; Unfused Brew Hall, which features a rotating selection of craft beers brewed on site alongside an inspired menu of German-influenced fare in the old Canton Brewing Company building; and Woodshop Canton, a project by UnHitched Brewing Company and is a part of the Fourth Street Collective which is also home to Deli Ohio and Mike's Pizza.

UnHitched Brewing Company itself is located the heart of Downtown Louisville which is less than 20 minutes from the Hall offers a wide selection of small batch beers brewed in homage to the classic styles that have served as the foundation for craft beer plus great food in a repurposed bowling alley. Another destination in Stark County is Maize Valley Winery & Craft Brewery which is about a 30 minute drive but is worth the drive with craft brews, wine, food, and a loaded schedule of events that will continue the fun on your visit!

Sweet treats are all over Stark County but you can stay on-campus after your visit and make your way up to Smoosh Cookies, a cookie shop owned by Hall of Famer, Isaac Bruce, and features the ultimate ice cream sandwich. There is no shortage of ice cream nearby either! Within minutes of the Hall you can find Kustard Korner around the corner or if you went to Woody's Root Beer Stand down the hill you can make that root beer a float! Down the street is Taggarts Ice Cream where you must try the Bittner! Another great ice cream spot is Pav's Creamery in North Canton where you can enjoy all types of frozen treats including boozy adult milkshakes.

Out of town if you made a stop at Umbrella Alley, you can stop into The Alley Cafe and Bakery located right next to the alley and grab some house-made baked goods or donuts on Wednesday. If you made your way to Hartville you can stop into the Hartville Kitchen Restaurant & Bakery for a delicious slice of pie.
