Your Summer Guide to Patio Dining in Stark County

July 2020 -- Dine al fresco in the beautiful Ohio weather. Find restaurants with patio dining and visit local favorites throughout Stark County.

We encourage all guests to call prior to visiting your favorite patio or restaurant; many have reduced hours and seating availability, and are open weather permitting.

Wineries, Breweries & Dining

Royal Docks Brewing Co. | Whether it's 80 degrees outside or 50 degrees, Royal Docks beers are perfectly perfect on their patio. Chilly summer night, Royal Docks is known to have their outdoor fire pit roaring, so you still get to enjoy the beautiful weather.


Gervasi Vineyard | Dine on the patio here, called the Piazza, and you will instantly feel like you have been transported to the hills of Tuscany. Guests will enjoy the beautiful pond mid-property, bocce ball, cornhole, relaxing Adirondack chairs, live music nightly Tuesday-Saturday, and delicious counter-service food from an outdoor kitchen. Enjoy the covered patio at the Crush House, offering 5-2-1 Happy Hour from 2-6 PM Monday thru Friday, plus the regular menu offerings.


Maize Valley Winery & Craft Brewery | You can walk the grounds of this farm, do a little shopping in their market, or enjoy lunch or dinner featuring many tasty homemade dishes. Many of the items on the menu and in their market come directly from their farm including their wine; talk about fresh! 


Fat Head's Brewery | We know you want to drink freshly made Bumbleberry on a patio! The newest brewery in Stark County, Fat Head's is the perfect location to kick back after a long day with friends, and enjoy the award winning food menu. 


Sandy Springs Brewing Co. | Located in the heart of Minerva, this adorable brewery will have all of your taste buds tingling with their extensive list of brews. A must try is their Happy Sappy, brewed with only tree sap and no water along with 30 pounds of their own farm's maple syrup, and some spices, enjoy this very unique one-of-a-kind beer. Weighing in at 11.2%, come and it’s time to try this beer that has made family and friends very happy over the last 11 years.


Table Six Kitchen + Bar | Enjoy that California vibe while sitting on the patio and enjoy the delicious food from bites to full meals. Your lunch or dinner would not be complete without getting one of their signature drinks, prepared with fresh juices, herbs and infusions, or enjoy over 80 different spirits, unique beers and a variety of wines.


Bender's Tavern | As Canton's Oldest Restaurant (since 1902!) they offer a quaint patio on brick-laden Court Ave. Enjoy only the highest quality meals, from fresh seafood to steaks, to their ever famous Turtle Soup. Perfect for a romantic date night or dinner with friends.


The Granite Grille @ Quarry Golf Club | Whether you are a golfer or not, this one-of-a-kind restaurant is open to the public and your taste buds are sure to be treated!


Shale Brewing Company | This is a must-sit patio that is in a small town, with a big city vibe! Stop by after work or on the weekends to grab your favorite brew and enjoy the comfy adirondack chairs and the large fire pit.


The Barrel Room | North Canton's favorite a wine bar offers a huge list of wine and craft beers, and their patio is cozy and heated if the night gets a little chilly.


Main Street Grille | Located in the heart of North Canton, this upscale restaurant is known for its aged steaks & chops, fresh fish, and seafood offerings. Make sure to check out their daily specials and their Happy Hour! 


Melt Bar & Grilled | Do you like grilled cheese? Gourmet grilled cheese that is? Melt Bar & Grilled has delicious food (in big portions I may add) and a relaxing atmosphere for enjoying patio dining. Located conveniently on the outside of Belden Village Mall.


Twenty/20 Taphouse | Located at the Holiday Inn Belden Village, stop by with your friends for a mug of “Blurred Vision” their house beer, good food and the Good life!
