Wednesday, August 1st


***Play Football “First Play” | Downtown Canton | 10:00AM***


Join over 3,000 children come together to form a human chain and pass a football along a three-mile route from the location in downtown Canton where the National Football League was founded to the front steps of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. “First Play” participants will receive a t-shirt (while supplies last), free admission to the Pro Football Hall of Fame for Wednesday, August 1, and lunch on the Hall of Fame grounds.


***Play Football “Skills Camp” | Youth Sports Complex | 6:00PM-8:00PM***


The Play Football “Skills Camp,” for children ages 11-14, will feature football activities that are designed for all skill levels. Gold Jackets (a term used for our living Hall of Famers) will be on field to assist and encourage camp participants. A special component to the camp will be a panel discussion that will take place with Gold Jackets and other special guests on the values learned from this great game.


Gervasi Vineyard Cruise-In | Gervasi Vineyard | 5:00PM-8:00PM


Join us for a fun, casual evening at Gervasi Vineyard with the whole family! Showcase your automobile or stroll among the cars! Door prizes, 50/50 drawing, fan favorite prize, free admission, prizes at 7:30pm, all makes/models/years of cars and trucks.


Thursday, August 2nd


2nd Annual Hall of Fame City Brewfest | Canton Brewing Company | 12:00PM-4:00PM


The event will be hosted by the Canton Brewing Company in celebration of Hall of Fame week in Canton for the newly inducted Hall of Famers. For all those coming in from out of town, this is a fun and exciting way to taste some of the best local beers that Ohio has to offer! 


The HOF City Brewfest will be held down in The Speakeasy at Canton Brewing Company and will include beer sampling from some of the best local breweries, food served by the Canton Brewing Company, as well as music and additional entertainment. Tickets will be available for purchase for $35 for food & beer, $25 for beer only $15 food only. Advance sale tickets can be purchased here. 


***Hall of Fame Game | Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium | 8:00PM***


The Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears will travel to Canton in August to kick off the 2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls. The Ravens and Bears will face each other in the Hall of Fame Game on Thursday, August 2 at 8PM ET at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Purchase tickets to the game here.


Friday, August 3rd


Gold Jacket Photo Op | Pro Football Hall of Fame Steps | 11:00AM 


Head to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Friday, August 3rd at 11AM for the 2018 Gold Jacket Photo Op, a FREE and open to the public event! Fans will have the special opportunity to witness a gathering of the game's immortals to celebrate excellence at this photo op on the front steps of the museum.


Stick around to create a gauntlet of fans to cheer on and welcome the Hall of Famers into the Event Center for their annual luncheon. Don’t forget to share all of your memories on social media with #PFHOF18


Fashion Show Luncheon | Canton Memorial Civic Center | 11:30AM


On August 3rd, an enthusiastic crowd of nearly 3,000 guests enjoy this fabulous luncheon and runway show that is arguably the largest and finest fashion show in Ohio! Pro Football Hall of Fame Kick-Off | Stark County District Library Main Branch | 2:00PM


Get into the Hall of Fame spirit with an afternoon of football stories and activities, along with a special mystery guest who might just know a little something about football! Who is the mystery guest? You will just have to come to find out! 


Unveiling of "Monday Night Football" & "Ralph Hay's Meeting" Murals | Bender's Tavern | 4:00PM


You're invited to the unveiling of TWO amazing football murals in 25 minutes. We'll start at 4pm in the parking lot next to Benders to unveil Jeffrey Keirn's 6th piece of The Eleven, "Monday Night Football."  Next we'll party down 2nd street and around the corner to city hall for the unveiling of Dirk Rozich's mural "Ralph Hay's Meeting." What a great way to kickoff Canton First Friday and the Gold Jacket Dinner.


Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner | Canton Civic Center | 5:00PM


The Class of 2018 Enshrinees will be the focus of the Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner as they receive their Hall of Fame Gold Jackets. This is an emotional ceremony center stage, one you don't want to miss! Close to 4,000 guests warmly welcome returning Gold Jackets and NFL team owners who are in Canton for the celebration. Purchase your tickets here. 


Canton First Friday: Fandom | Canton Arts District | 6:00PM-10:00PM


First Friday is a monthly party in the downtown Canton Arts District in Canton, OH featuring themed music, performance and visual arts events and always a few surprises for adults and children! The theme for August's First Friday is FANDOMS! In the heart of the Canton Arts District is where you will find one heck of a good time.


Paul Brown Museum Pop-Up Exhibit | Duncan Place Builing | 6:00PM-8:00PM


The Massillon Museum will host a pop-up exhibit at the Duncan Place building, 59 Lincoln Way E., to give people a taste of the forthcoming Paul Brown Museum!  Enter off Lincoln Way on Friday, August 3rd from 6-8pm, and Saturday, August 4, from 2-4pm.  A small sample of material from the Paul Brown and Massillon Tiger Football Booster Club collection will be exhibited with a few teasers from Stephen Tomasko's  upcoming "Loyal to the Lot" exhibit of visual stories from the tailgating at Cleveland Browns Municipal Lot.


"We're really excited to give a preview of what's to come in the new Paul E. Brown Museum space with this pop-up show.  I hope this helps build hype for the opening of the new building later this fall," says Bailey Yoder, curator of football heritage for MassMu.

Saturday, August 4th


The Canton Repository Grand Parade | Cleveland Ave. Downtown Canton | 8:00AM


Nearly 200,000 spectators line the 2.2 mile parade route, and millions more have the opportunity to view the parade via the television broadcast in the local and regional area on Fox Sports Ohio. The parade will feature the Class of 2018 Enshrinees, a large contingent of returning Gold Jackets/Hall of Famers, giant helium balloons, marching bands, fabulous floats, classic vehicles, and specialty units. ***Enshrinement Ceremony | Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium | 7:00PM ***


The Class of 2018 (Beathard, Brazile, Dawkins, Kramer, Lewis, Moss, Owens and Urlacher) will be formally enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018. The Enshrinement Ceremony takes place at the spectacular Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton and will be televised nationally by NFL Network and ESPN. Sunday, August 5th


Enshrinees’ Roundtable | Canton Memorial Civic Center | 12:30PM


Football fans absolutely will not want to miss this unscripted, up-close-and-personal lunch with the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Class of 2018. An enthusiastic crowd of nearly 3,000 enjoy lunch, followed by a center stage roundtable presentation featuring the newly inducted Class of 2018 Gold Jackets. The Enshrinees share stories and memories of their careers, providing a unique and memorable experience for all in attendance. Purchase your tickets to the event here. 


Historic Massillon Cemetery Mausoleums Walking Tour | Massillon Cemetery | 2:00PM


Beautiful cemetery architecture and history of the people buried there, concentrating on the two dozen mausoleums around the perimeter of the grounds.


Enjoy a stroll along grassy lanes through Massillon Cemetery to learn the history of the community, the cemetery, and the National Register residence.  See monuments commemorating individuals who contributed to Massillon's history, some to the nation, some to the world:  inventors, industrialists, philanthropists, military heroes, and political leaders.  The lovely stone mausoleums and monuments—from the 1840s to the present—are sheltered by an ancient tree canopy.


Meet at the cemetery entrance, 1827 South Erie Street.  Parking inside the gate is very limited; please park on either side of South Erie Street.  No reservations are required.  $7 per person at the beginning of the tour.


***Concert for Legends | Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium | 8:00PM***


The festivities of Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls wrap up on Sunday, August 5th with the Concert for Legends. Maroon 5, one of pop music’s most enduring artists and the 21st Century’s biggest acts, will headline the 2018 Concert for Legends. The 2018 Concert for Legends lineup now includes Lee Brice. Monday, August 6


Drum Corps International Tour of Champions | Paul Brown Tiger Stadium | 7:30PM


The Tour of Champions event series is an exciting live entertainment format featuring top World Class corps. Spectators will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the drum corps experience with exclusive fan-member interaction, pre-show and intermission entertainment and more! HOF Fun Fest/Bud Light Beer Fest | Pro Football Hall of Fame Campus Turf Field


Enjoy live music, DJ’s, special guest appearances, Beer Fest, sponsor giveaways, and interactive activities for kids! Enjoy the FREE activities Thursday from 12PM until 7PM, Friday from 11AM until 4PM, Saturday 12PM until 6PM, and Sunday 12PM until 7PM.


Summer Exhibits at Beech Creek Gardens


Hand-feed native Ohio butterflies inside the Butterfly House and learn about the life cycle of a butterfly inside the Caterpillar Nursery. Explore two dozen hands-on interactive activity stations related to nature and environmental science inside the Amazing Garden Plant Science Center. Other areas to explore include beautiful botanical gardens, hiking trails, Nature Playground, picnic areas, and Nature Store. The Eleven | Canton Arts District


The ELEVEN is a $2.2 million multi-year project of ArtsinStark and The Pro Football Hall of Fame which celebrates the greatest moments in professional football history with a walkable series of 11 pieces of world-class art throughout downtown Canton, Ohio. Currently, there are six pieces of the project completed and all within walking distance. 


Greater Alliance Carnation Festival Rib Fest | Carnation City Mall Parking Lot on West State Street


Enjoy delicious festival food from and the oh, so tasty ribs. Enjoy live music every night at 8PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The festival runs Thursday from 4PM until 11PM and Friday and Saturday from 12PM until 11PM.
