America’s Playing Field attracts visitors from across the nation with an all-star line-up of sports events. Throughout 2023 fans can experience professional sports games, national championships, and other sporting events.
USFL Regular Season
April through June
The USFL recently announced in a joint press conference with the Hall of Fame Village that Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium will be the host site for Maulers and Generals home games during the 2023 season. Additionally, the North Division Playoff and the USFL Championship will return to Canton this summer, with dates and times to be announced later.

Ohio High School Football North South Classic
April 29th
The Ohio High School Football North South Classic will be played on Saturday, April 29th at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium. The North-South Classic is the Ohio high school football all-star game, featuring the state of Ohio's top seniors as selected by the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association. First held in 1946, it is the nation's oldest-running high school football all-star game and boasts a legacy of top athletes who have participated, including Pro Football Hall of Famers Len Dawson, Roger Staubach, Jack Lambert, Alan Page, Larry Csonka, and Paul Warfield, not to mention many others who have gone on to play professionally.
Hall of Fame Game
August 3rd
The matchup, which kicks off the National Football League’s 104th season in the city where the League was born, will take place in Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium – adjacent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
It will be the Browns' sixth time playing in the Hall of Fame Game. Their most recent appearance in Canton came in 1999 — the first game the franchise played after resuming operations. The Jets have played twice in Canton but not since 1992.
Enshrinement 2023
August 5th
The newest members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame are cornerback/safety Ronde Barber, coach Don Coryell, linebacker Chuck Howley, defensive end/defensive tackle/nose tackle Joe Klecko, cornerback Darrelle Revis, cornerback Ken Riley, offensive tackle Joe Thomas, linebacker Zach Thomas and linebacker/defensive end Demarcus Ware.
More than 130 Hall of Famers return to Canton each year to be a part of the Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls. Nowhere else are fans able to see and interact with as many Hall of Famers in one place at one time as in Canton during the annual celebration.

September 3rd
The 4th annual Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic will take place Sunday, September 3rd 2023, and will feature HBCU powerhouses Virginia Union University and Morehouse College.
