Fireworks on the 4th of July

On July 4, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was adopted and we became the United States of America! Celebrations on the 4th of July have long since been common - and we Americans LOVE fireworks! If you're looking for a boomin' good time on the 4th, just head to one of these events! Remember to bring your own seating: blankets and chairs! You may also want to bring your cameras, and card games to entertain the kids! Additional Fireworks displays, not being held on July 4th, are listed below!

A Monumental 4th will be held at the McKinley Monument starting at 6:00 p.m. Food vendors will be available for tasty treats. Get there early to pick your viewing spot! The Canton Concert Band will begin to entertain at 7:30 p.m. and the fireworks show isn't far behind! Get ready for a fantastic display at 9:45 p.m.

The North Canton Jaycees' 4th of July Celebration will start at 7:00 p.m. at 7th Street NE in North Canton, near Hoover High School. There will be food vendors available to satisfy your taste buds, and entertainment for the kids! Enjoy the live music of "Cyphert" a bluesy-rock-n-roll band! Stick around for the main show - the fireworks show will start after dusk!

The Alliance Independence Day Fireworks celebration will be held at Silver Park at 2939 South Union Avenue. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. with food and children's activities. Fireworks display at dusk!

City of Champions Independence Day Celebration will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd, at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium in Massillon. Enjoy musical entertainment from The Texas Toast Band, Kerri & Kerosene, and Reunited. Children ages 3-6 may participate in the Lil Miss Liberty and Lil Mr. Liberty Pageant, registration from 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. There will be many food vendors on site, and the event admission and parking is free! (Rain Date: July 5)

On Saturday, June 29th, "Fourth of July" Fireworks at Clay's ParkEnjoy a fun day of swimming, mini golf, and other fun at Clay's Park, then set up your seats for the fireworks show later in the evening!

Also on Saturday, June 29th, enjoy the Jackson Community Celebration Fireworks at North Park in Jackson Township. The event runs from Wednesday - Saturday! The entertainment on Saturday includes live music from Kerosene and fireworks after dark!
