Fourth of July Celebration

July 2-July 5 | Clay’s Park & Resort

St. Helena III Canal Boat Rides

July 3-July 5 | Canal Fulton Canalway Center

Take a step back in history and travel the Canal! The St. Helena II canal boat is pulled by two draft horses, Dan & Izzy, and departs from the Port of Canal Fulton in St. Helena Heritage Park for a one-hour ride down the Ohio & Erie Canal. A historian on board provides information on the history of the canal, the boat and the area. Ride leaves at 12:15PM, 1:30PM and 2:45PM. Make sure you are there a half hour early to purchase tickets and board the boat.

Canton Palace Theatre Drive-In Movies

July 3 & 4 | Canton Palace Theatre Parking Lot

The Canton Palace Theatre presents their first ever drive in theater series! Join them for family-friendly films on Friday nights, and classics on Saturday nights. Movies are shown in the Canton Palace Theatre parking lot, located two blocks south of the theatre on Market Ave., adjacent to the Renkert Building at 306 Market Ave. N.

4th of July Flea Market

July 4th & 6th | Hartville MarketPlace & Flea Market

Looking for something fun to do during the holiday weekend? Stop out July 4th and July 6th for an exciting weekend of shopping, food and fun! They typically have more than 1,000 vendors selling everything from comic books and produce to antiques. Make sure to wear your walking shoes, sunscreen, and bring your water bottle! Mark your calendars, because you do not want to miss out on all of the bargains and fun!

Red, White & BBQ

July 4 | Gervasi Vineyard

Join us for the Red, White and BBQ event! Celebrate July 4th at the Gervasi Vineyard Pavilion and enjoy a family-style BBQ meal with live music by Rolando. Each table will get ribs (16 bones), 16 pieces of chicken, potato salad, corn on the cob and strawberry chiffon cake. Any leftovers can be taken home. Table price includes ice tea and lemonade. Cash bar for additional beverages will be available.
