Museum Day Live!: Get FREE Admission to Stark County Museums

August 30, 2021- Receive FREE admission as part of Smithsonian Magazine’s “Museum Day Live!” on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Participating Stark County Museums include Pro Football Hall of Fame, McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, and the Massillon Museum.

  • At the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum their history galleries include: The McKinley Gallery, featuring the largest collection of McKinley-related artifacts in the world; The Street of Shops, a life-sized indoor 19th century town; The Stark County Story, exploring 200 years of the community that created a president; and the Keller Gallery featuring "Why Do We Collect?" exhibition. Enjoy an interactive science center called Discover World, and a 65-seat planetarium. The McKinley National Memorial, the final resting place of the president and his family, is located on the grounds.

  • Massillon Museum is a free art and history museum accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. It was founded in 1933 and was originally housed in the former home of city founder James Duncan. In 1996, MassMu moved to its current location, a historic, 1931 art deco building in the heart of downtown Massillon. Its Studio M gallery showcases contemporary art in seven-week rotations, while the Fred F. Silk Community Room exhibits the products of community collaborations. The Paul Brown Museum rotates exhibits semiannually, interpreting football heritage through lenses of both art and history.

To receive free admission, you must visit the Smithsonian Magazine’s website and select your museum of choice. NOTE: You are only allowed to download one ticket to one museum on Museum Day. Once you click "generate ticket," you won't be able to change your museum selection. The offer is for U.S. Residents only.

Present the official Museum Day Live! Ticket at the museum, which provides general admission for the ticketholder, plus one guest. It is not valid for special exhibits, parking, or combined with any other special offer. Ticket is ONLY valid on Museum Day, September 18, 2021.
