Minerva Jazz Festival Celebrates Art & Local Music

May 10, 2018- The Brick Street Art & Jazz Festival is a yearly event taking place on the historic North Market Avenue in Minerva, Ohio on Saturday, May 19th from 10AM until 7PM. The FREE festival integrates jazz students and popular jazz musicians and a day filled with the arts!

Enjoy a day filled with live jazz music and hands on activities for the kids all day! There will be a large gathering of woodturners demonstrating their skills throughout the day. Other art demonstrations include pottery, printmaking, painting with many interactive art activities. The Community Art Center, and Kids Art Center will offer activities and kids will enjoy a drum circle, jam sessions, the Art Bus Gallery and so much more.

Make sure to come hungry! Enjoy food for dozens of food vendors including Kishman’s IGA smoker, Lobster Louies, Tozzi’s Italian Restaurant, Candlelight Catering, Our Melt Bar gourmet sandwiches, the Sweet Spot Truck, and your favorite festival foods including kettle corn, lemonade, French waffles, and more! Need to take a break from the sun, enjoy lunch or dinner at Que Pasa Mexican Resturant, Hollands Restaurant, AND Minerva's own Sandy Springs Brewing Company— all located on N. Market Street.


Parking is available for free in the village parking lots and on adjacent streets. In case of rain, the bands will perform in the Roxy Theatre on N. Market Street.
