Holiday Tree Lightings Kick Off The Holidays in Stark County

November 2021 - The holiday season is upon us, and what better way to herald its arrival than with a grand holiday tree lighting and community celebration? You don't have to travel far this season to spend a magical evening with your family and friends!

November 20 | Hollydays Light Up Event | Downtown Massillon

Bring all of your family to Downtown Massillon and ring in the holiday season, with entertainment, festive decorations with 1000's of lights, and of course the one and only Santa Claus! FREE family fun begins at 5:00PM with the Annual Holiday Parade followed by the light up of the City's Christmas tree. There will be holiday-themed activities, games, face painting, train rides, and more. 

November 27 | Hall of Fame Village Holiday Kickoff | Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium

On Saturday, November 27th from 4:30PM-9:00PM, guests will enjoy live entertainment, holiday shopping vendors, and activities for the whole family at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium! Highlights include the Spirit of the Season 5K, fireworks show, virtual tree lighting, pictures with Santa, reindeer petting zoo, and more! For guests who are 21+, there will be an After Party in the Club of Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Tickets are $15 and include live entertainment from Half the Nation and Holiday Ale and Spirits will be available to purchase.

December 2 | Light Up Downtown | Downtown Canton

You don't want to miss this FREE event from 5:30PM-8:30PM. This year’s Light Up Downtown, the annual holiday celebration in downtown Canton, is your chance to watch 16 city blocks come alive with attractions, entertainment, refreshments, and fun for children of all ages. 

December 3 | Plain Township's Community Tree Lighting | Oakwood Square

SidestreetMKTS presents the Millcraft Barns “Holiday Village of Shops” at Oakwood Square and on Friday, December 3rd will help host Plain Township's Community Tree Lighting. There will be lots of family-friendly activities, shopping, entertainment, food and drinks ---PLUS SANTA!

December 4 | Christmas on the Canal | Historic Downtown Canal Fulton

Head to Historic Downtown Canal Fulton for an afternoon filled with holiday cheer! Enjoy photos with Santa, wood and ice carvers, delicious food, boutique shopping, and live music throughout the afternoon! The fun is all day from 1:00PM to 6:00PM and most activities are free or very minimal cost.

December 5 | An Evening in the Village | Historic Downtown Hartville

Bring your friends and family to enjoy a Hartville Christmas tradition from 4:30PM-7:00PM. The evening kicks off at 4:30 with Santa’s arrival by firetruck followed by the tree lighting. Spend your evening listening to local choirs and musicians, viewing decorated windows, taking photos, and jumping from shop to shop enjoying open houses. There is also a tree & basket silent auction, kid crafts, photo booth and so much more!

December 11 | Holiday in the Park | Jackson North Park

Join us on Saturday, December 11 from 5 pm to 7 pm for the Annual Holiday in the Park. Enjoy lighting displays, crafts, food, art, caroling and the annual Christmas tree lighting! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving via firetruck and don't forget to bring a new unwrapped toy for those in need! The event takes place at Jackson North Park, 7660 Fulton Rd. NW, Massillon, Ohio 44646 (across from Jackson High School).
