Winery Road Trip Stops
Spend a few extra days at Gervasi while you explore Ohio's wine country.
Enjoy peaceful farmland and country scenery at Maize Valley Winery and Craft Brewery in Hartville. Family-owned and operated, the winery crafts their products from Ohio-grown ingredients and features a fresh produce market, deli, bakery, Tasting Room Cafe, and free live music every Friday & Saturday from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Head south along I-77 toward Ohio's Amish Country to find four wineries in Dover, Ohio. The first stop along the way is the School House Winery, a boutique winery inside a restored 125-year-old schoolhouse.
A bit further into Dover, nestled along a 1-mile strip on Old Route 39 are the remaining three winery stops; Breitenbach, Swiss Heritage, and Silver Moon. At Breitenbach sip award-winning grape, fresh fruit, berry wines, and Dandelion wine, and enjoy live music and BBQ on Saturdays. At Swiss Heritage Winery, enjoy Broad Run Corner where their wines, cheeses, and outdoor dining deck combine to create a sublime experience. Not far down the road, stop in at Silver Moon Winery. They produce over 40 wines, all of which are available for purchase in the winery shop.
