Flying Legends of Victory Tour

June 23rd-28th

Not everyone can visit the Airbase Arizona Museum for an up-close and personal inspection of our historic warbirds. So, in the summer, MAPS Air Museum will take their World War II planes to the public to fulfill their mission of educating generations about the role of aviation in combat history.

Keep your eyes to the skies when their B-25 Maid in the Shade and B-17 Sentimental Journey fly overhead to their next destination. And visit when we’re in your town. Rides and tours are available, but be sure to book your seat in advance because they will only be there for a limited time.

Carnation City Players present "1776"

June 25th-28th

Witness the pivotal moments that forged our nation in this compelling and surprisingly witty musical. 1776 transports you to the intense summer days of the Continental Congress, where the monumental decision to declare independence hung in the balance — offering a fascinating and humanizing glimpse into the spirited debates, fierce compromises, and extraordinary courage of those who shaped America’s destiny, providing a powerful and timely reminder of the foundations of liberty.

Olde Canal Days Festival

July 9th-11th

This year’s festival will be a Red, White & Blue Extravaganza celebrating America’s 250th Birthday and the city’s heritage. Special events and a spectacular fireworks show are being planned for this years celebration.

Olde Canal Days Festival is an annual festival that was started in 1968 celebrating Canal Fulton's Ohio & Erie Canal Heritage. The three day festival includes arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, Canal Days Queens Beauty Pageant, St. Helena III canal boat rides, grande parade, live entertainment and fireworks. The festival offers fairgoers an assortment of outdoor recreation activities during the festival to spend the whole weekend.

Hoover Park Festival

August 2nd

The Annual Hoover Park Festival at Walsh University will take place in Hoover Park on the University’s north campus, located at 1875 E. Maple St., North Canton. Presented by the Hoover Historical Center, the event is free and open to the public and promises an afternoon of fun, education, and community celebration!

The festival offers something for all ages, including live music, food trucks, tours of the Hoover Historical Center, engaging history exhibits from local organizations and libraries, and children’s activities throughout the day.

The Hoover Park Festival continues to grow each year, bringing together families, alumni, and neighbors to celebrate a rich tradition of innovation, community pride, and local history.

Stark County Fair

September 1st-7th

The Stark County Fair is one of Ohio’s oldest and most beloved traditions. Held annually in Canton, it serves as a massive end-of-summer celebration that combines deep-rooted farming heritage with entertainment such as rides, concerts, and more!

In honor of America’s 250th, a vibrant, photo-worthy mural that celebrates our nation’s milestone and serves as a signature centerpiece for downtown Canton will go up!

Umbrella Alley

May 23rd-September 20th

Umbrella Alley is ready to celebrate America 250! With over 2,500 streamers they have created the flag to commemorate America's 250th birthday to go up with the umbrellas this summer.

250 Flags at Glamorgan Castle

June 14th-July 31st

250 American flags will be installed across the lawn of Glamorgan Castle. The Castle’s central location in the city and its open landscape make it a perfect canvas for this patriotic display.
