Alliance Independence Day Celebration
July 4, 2026 4:00 PM –9:00 PM
Overview
Celebrate America's 250th Fourth of July in Alliance!
The John Hampu Band will perform in Miller Pavilion beginning at 4:00 p.m. There will be food trucks on hand and activities provided by the Alliance Parks and Recreation Department.
Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with an authentic “living history” concert recreating the Alliance City Band presented by the Alliance Historical Society, Alliance Parks and Recreation Department, and American Musical Productions. The Alliance City Band provided music for the community from 1859 until 1992. American Musical Productions will transport audiences back a century, recreating a program from the band’s golden years under the direction of Emil Rinkendorf.
Joseph N. Rubin will conduct a 23-piece concert band of Northern Ohio’s finest musicians attired in period uniforms. The FREE 75-minute concert based on a recently discovered July 1926 Alliance City Band program will feature many beloved band classics. Rain location will be Alliance High School Auditorium, 400 Glamorgan Street.
Fireworks will finish out the evening’s big birthday event!
