Earth Day is Friday, April 22nd and there is no better time to celebrate this beautiful planet than SPRING!
The trees are budding, the birds are singing, and the sunshine is getting warmer! This holiday has been celebrated for over 50 years to support the protection of nature. Looking to get involved this Earth Day? Here are ways to be involved in Stark County!

Hooray for our home planet, Earth! Explore some excellent Earth resources like land, water, fresh air, and trees. Come celebrate healthy earth practices like recycling and saving energy with easy stories and songs. We’ll finish with a simple service project for TWC.

Join us on Saturday, April 16th from 11-2 for Science Saturday: Enviro-fun. See a puppet show, learn about recycling, craft a mini pot for seedlings, create pine cone bird feeders, and much more.

Celebrate Earth Day by testing your wits! Grab some friends and join us for a night of drinks and environmental trivia at Tam O' Shanter Park Clubhouse. Come early for a hike around Tam O' Shanter to learn some fun nature facts that just might help you during the game.

Dust off your outdoor running shoes and join us for the kickoff event at 9am for the Canton Earth Day 5k. Then, stay and enjoy the weather and being outdoors with guided yoga sessions, healthy and organic food vendors, holistic practices, planting demonstrations, vintage vendors, and more.
