Earth Day is Saturday, April 22nd and there is no better time to celebrate this beautiful planet than SPRING!
The trees are budding, the birds are singing, and the sunshine is getting warmer! This holiday has been celebrated for over 50 years to support the protection of nature. Looking to get involved this Earth Day? Here are ways to be involved in Stark County!

Run Wild! 5K & 10K
Run Wild on the trails at The Wilderness Center!
Join us in celebrating Earth Day with a morning run/walk and experience the beauty of nature. Take on the 10K or 5K, or bring the whole family out for the 1Mile Fun Run! Your registration fee will support conservation and nature education efforts in our community.
Besides the 1Mile Fun Run, 5k and 10k, there will be many activities on site including a tree planting.
With your race registration, you will receive a high-quality race t-shirt (1 per participant), after-event snacks and drinks, as well as a chance at awards.
Registration is handled through USA Race Timing and Event Management.
