First Ladies National Historic Site

The First Ladies National Historic Site preserves, promotes and educates the public about the significant role of the First Ladies of the United States and their contributions throughout history.

Located right in downtown Canton, the Site includes the Education and Research Center that houses the museum and current exhibit; and the Saxton McKinley House, the ancestral home of Canton’s own First Lady, Ida Saxton McKinley.

Group tours are available year round for groups of 10 or more people. Reservations for groups MUST be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Please contact our Group Tour Coordinator for more information or to book your visit today.

First Ladies National Historic Site's Education & Research Center will be open Tuesday-Saturday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (closed Sundays and Mondays). The Saxton House remains closed at this time.
