Exploration Gateway
Overview
The Exploration Gateway at Sippo Lake Park is a center of nature, culture, and life-long learning established in June 2007 as a partnership between the Stark County Park District and the Stark County District Library. There's lots to explore both inside and out! Hiking and biking trails surround the beautiful Sippo Lake, and FeLeap's Lily Pad Gift Shop provides affordable souvenirs plus beverages and snacks. The Herbert W. Hoover Foundation Science Classroom contains live wildlife and indoor bird-viewing windows. The Perry Sippo Branch Library features a 58,000-item collection with specialized nature and Canalway history resources and an outdoor terrace and indoor fireplace, drive-through book drop, 400-gallon aquarium, and wireless internet access and public computers. Indoor meeting and banquet rooms are also available for rent. Visit www.StarkPartyHall.com for rental information.
