Memorial Day Weekend Fun

May 16, 2019- Memorial Day is the official kickoff to the summer and many are excited to have their pools opened, families over for barbeques, and a highly anticipated long weekend. Here are just a few of the fun activities you and your family can enjoy!

Memorial Day Flea Market

May 23-27 | Hartville Marketplace & Flea Market
The big weekend kicks off on Thursday, and runs Friday, Saturday, (closed on Sunday), and finishes up Monday. There will be around 1,000 vendors and around 30,000 customers throughout the entire weekend! Make sure to wear your walking shoes and mark your calendars, because you do not want to miss out on all of the bargains and fun.

Memorial Day Weekend at Clay's Park & Resort

May 24-27 | Clay's Park Resort
Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with our Military Parade, Classic Car Show and the opening of our Adventure Waterpark! The unofficial start to summer is kicking off at Clay's Park & Resort! 

4th Friday's Cruise-In & Farmers Market 

May 24 | Barley's Event Center
All Makes & Models Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles are welcome to Cruise-In on the Front Lawn while enjoying DJ Spinning Oldies, Food, Door Prizes, 50/50, . Vendors & Crafters will be set up inside and outside of barn selling fresh produce, baked goods, specialty items, art creations and crafts!

Come enjoy great beer and enjoy the talents of Doug Olson and PJ Chavez. Request your favorite songs and dance along!

Titantic: The Musical 

May 24-26 | Players Guild Theatre
Based on actual characters aboard the most legendary ship in the world, Titanic the Musical is a production focusing on the hopes, dreams and aspirations of her passengers and the adventures that they seek. Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased here. 

Collingsworth Family Dinner Concert

May 23 & 24 | Hartville Kitchen 
Come hear the musical stylings of the Collingsworth Family!  Experience the warm atmosphere and delicious food Hartville Kitchen has to offer while enjoying a great concert or show! Tickets can be purchased online for $50 and include dinner and show. 

St. Helena III Canal Boat Rides

May 25 & 26 | Canal Fulton Canalway Center
Take a step back in history and travel the Canal! The St. Helena II canal boat is pulled by two Percheron horses, Dan & Izzy, and departs from the Port of Canal Fulton in St. Helena Heritage Park for a one hour ride down the Ohio & Erie Canal. A historian on board provides information on the history of the canal, the boat and the area. Ride leaves at 1PM and 2:30PM. Make sure you are there a half hour early to purchase tickets and board the boat.

Art in Bloom: Spring Flower & Art Exhibit

Open Daily - May 26 | Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve
You don’t want to miss this exhibit—and it is winding down to its last weekend! This exhibit features various movements of the arts nestled in with thousands of beautiful eye-popping flowers and plants-resulting in a “horticultural art gallery” of color and fragrance. Come stroll through the gardens and be inspired! Cost is only $7 per person and includes access to the gardens and art exhibits, the Amazing Garden Science Center, Log Playground, Hiking Trails, picnic areas, and more!

Shop amazing deals at your favorite local small businesses. While here, play games, make & takes, photo ops and more

May Night Canoe

May 25 | Trailhead Canoe Livery
Check out the Tusc by the light of the moon, enjoy the tranquility of an evening on the water, and top it all off with great food by the fire afterwards! The 3-mile trip is $20/per person, 6-mile $25/person, and the price is the same for canoes OR kayaks. Prices include the boat rental as well as hot dogs, salad, chips, s’mores, and drinks after! Boats are launched any time between 7 until 8:30PM.
