Fall is calling, and there’s no better way to enjoy it than by exploring Stark County with Explore Stark Bingo: Autumn Adventures! Participants will receive a digital BINGO board featuring a variety of Autumn Adventures throughout Stark County. Just like traditional BINGO, the goal is to get 5 squares in a row - horizontally, vertically or diagonally - to get BINGO! Visit the featured activities on your BINGO board and check in through the digital pass to mark each square. Once you have 5 in a row, you’ve got BINGO!

The first 50 participants to get BINGO will receive a FREE pie from Hartville Kitchen Restaurant & Bakery! Complete your Bingo Board and celebrate everything there is to love about fall. Every completed square brings you one step closer to prizes - and a season full of memories!

Explore Stark Bingo: Autumn Adventures is a free digital experience that invites you to explore Stark County’s fall attractions, events, restaurants, shops and seasonal experiences. This free digital experience is an easy to use bingo game that lives on your smartphone, and works with your GPS! When you find an experience on your Bingo card you want to enjoy and travel there, you can check in on your phone at that space to mark it complete! Some squares offer additional options to complete, so you can pick the bingo-path that interests you the most!

From pumpkin patches and fall festivals to haunted attractions, seasonal treats, outdoor adventures and more, there’s something for everyone to discover. Gather your family and friends, get out and explore, and start checking off the squares on your BINGO board!

Factory of Terror

The Factory of Terror is a Guinness World Record-holding indoor haunted house, over a mile long. It features four intense scare zones—Forsaken Asylum of Dr. Morbidius, Industrial Nightmare, Massacre on Mahoning, and The Abyss—populated with 130+ live actors, animatronics, special effects like moving walls, smoke, strobe lights, and more. Guests also traverse themed bars—Carnevil Circus, Poison Ivy’s Greenhouse, and One-Eyed Jack’s Pirate Bar—and can visit All American Battle Bar with axe throwing, games, food trucks, live DJs, and a gift shop called The Scream Shop. Zombie Bar Crawl nights also take place Friday and Saturday evenings.

Fortress of Fear Haunted ScreamPark

Fortress of Fear Haunted ScreamPark is an immersive haunted attraction featuring the Fortress of Fear Haunted House, Fear Fair Scare Zone, and amusement rides such as the Tilt-A-Hurl & GLO-Karts. This multi-attraction scream park combines detailed sets, intense soundscapes, professional actors, and scare technology. The final weekend includes a lights-out “Black-Out” event where guests navigate the haunted house by glow stick.

October’s Frightful Film Fest at the Palace!

This October, experience horror the way it was meant to be seen on the giant screen of the historic Canton Palace Theatre.

Horror on the Big Screen 2026 returns with a spine-chilling lineup of classic and cult-favorite horror films, bringing audiences together for a month-long celebration of suspense, supernatural thrills, unforgettable monsters, and iconic cinematic scares. The screams are louder. The shadows are darker. The experience is unforgettable.

Join us for Horror on the Big Screen every weekend in October, where every classic returns to life on the big screen at the Canton Palace Theatre – if you dare!

  • The Fly (1986 – 40th Anniversary) - Friday, October 2
  • The Blair Witch Project: Screening and Q&A - Saturday, October 3
    • Now, in a rare, limited-engagement tour, all three actors will appear live on stage after a full movie screening, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and answering audience questions about the making of this groundbreaking film.
  • Stephen King Double Feature: Pet Sematary (1989) & The Shining (1980) - Friday, October 9
  • Hitchcock Double Feature: Rear Window (1954) & Psycho (1960) - Saturday, October 10
  • The Exorcist (1973) - Friday, October 16
  • Nosferatu (1922)- A silent film special with original accompaniment at the Historic Kilgen Organ by Jay Spencer - Saturday, October 17
  • Alien (1979) - Friday, October 30
  • Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) - Saturday, October 31
    • Costume contest begins at 6:45 PM before the film is screened.
