Join us from 12:00–2:00 PM for fun, hands-on astronomy activities for the whole family! All activities are FREE with the price of museum admission.

Saturday, December 27 – Planets
Explore our solar system and investigate planet sizes. Activities include:

  • Creating a pocket solar system
  • Sculpting a playdough solar system
  • Making a planet necklace

Tuesday, December 30 – Constellations
Learn how to read a winter star map and navigate the night sky. Activities include:

  • Big Dipper clock
  • Star wheel
  • Constellation cups

Friday, January 2 – Rockets
Start the New Year with Rocket Day! Activities include:

  • Build and launch a simple rocket
  • Enjoy additional rocket-themed projects and challenges
