St. Timothy’s Mass and a Movie

Overview
In celebration of America 250, on Saturday, June 27, St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Massillon will host “Mass and a Movie” beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a Holy Communion service. At 7:00 p.m. the parish will screen the 1972 musical “1776” starring William Daniels and Ken Howard — a musical retelling of the American Revolution's political struggle in the Continental Congress to declare independence.
“Mass and a Movie” chair Aaron Litten says powdered wigs and knickers are optional. In fact, guests are invited to dress casually and bring snacks.
The event is free and open to everyone. St. Timothy’s Church is located at 226 Third Street, S.E. in Massillon. The parking lot entrance is on Oak Street, S.E.
