Planetarium Show: Halloween: Celestial Origins

Overview
What do you associate with Halloween – Trick-or-Treating, Jack-o-Lanterns, costumes, candy corn and … astronomy? After all, Halloween is an astronomical holiday! Join us as we learn how Halloween fits into the fall season as a cross-quarter day and how the beliefs and celebrations surrounding this day became the origins of our most cherished Halloween traditions.
A “Tonight’s Sky” program showing a few of the seasonal constellations and planets currently in the night sky will follow the fulldome show.
Registration required. Walk-ins welcome up to capacity.
