Martin Luther King Jr. Day at McKinley Museum

Overview
On January 19 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum will host is first Museum Record Day. Museum staff will count how many people slide down the fire pole in the Fire Station in the Street of Shops. Each person will have the opportunity to sign the Museum's "Official Record Book" after sliding down the pole. The same event will be held again in 2027 to try to break the record set in 2026.
Although the Museum is usually closed on Mondays, it will be open for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 19. Other activities include free activity sheets in the Museum Shoppe and shows in the Hoover-Price Planetarium: Cosmic Kids (ages 3+) at 11:00 & 11:30 AM and Universe at Large (ages 6+) at 1:00 & 2:00 PM. Merry Christmas Charlie Brown will be on view in the Keller Gallery through January 31.
