Canton Comedy Boom Presents: Kids Doing Comedy on Sunday February 22nd!
Join us for this in-person comedy extravaganza! This talented group of kids, aged 4-12, will take the stage to deliver stand-up, funny stories, and sketch comedy!
Thanks to a generous grant from ArtsinStark, we are able to offer workshops, performance showcases, and a Kids Doing Comedy Tour at local senior living facilities to continue for the next year. We couldn't be more grateful, because it will allow us to expand the program beyond what we could do alone. We are so excited to invite experienced theater, improv, and stand-up instructors to share their expertise with the next generation of comedy stars!
This is the seventh time CCB has hosted Kids Doing Comedy, and the kids have been hard at work writing new material and rehearsing new sketches in our workshops. They’re so excited to take the stage again.

Our workshops are offered at no cost to parents thanks to ArtsinStark. There’s no pressure to perform, kids are welcome to attend the workshops without committing to performing on the day of the show. If you have a theater kid who loves to make a room laugh, this is a unique opportunity for them to experiment with both theater and comedy in a safe and supportive environment.
