The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is the world’s leading provider of internationally recognized wine qualifications. As part of Wine Camp, participants will take part in structured, engaging instruction led by certified educators from the American Wine School. Through tastings, discussion, and interactive learning, you’ll explore:- The main types and styles of wine common grape varieties and their key characteristics- Wine storage and service best practices- The principles of food and wine pairing- How to describe wine using the WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting® (SAT)At the conclusion of the weekend, you’ll take the official WSET Level 1 exam, a 30-question multiple choice test. Upon passing, you’ll receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin — a prestigious credential recognized worldwide in the wine and hospitality industries.
