Overview
Visit the 1906 Caresha Museum at 125 W. Carrollton St. in Magnolia for a taste of life in a quaint Canal Town. It includes the Sandy & Beaver Canal, the Confectionary, Native American artifacts, telephone history, and currently, Magnolia Art and Artists.
The 1800s Kemp Blacksmith Shop nearby is a step back in time, featuring five generations of Kemp blacksmiths.
A Walking Tour brochure is available to stroll by other historic sites. Eat at the Nest Café & Ice Cream Parlor in the Isaac Miller Inn, restored by the Historical Society. To tour Magnolia Flouring Mills, contact Stark Parks.
Museum tours in 2026 are available first Saturdays from 10-1 and first Sundays from 1-3 from May to November. The Museum and Kemp Blacksmith Shop are also open during special events or by appointment: (330) 284-6440. No admission fee.
