What’s Happening This Weekend: December 1 & 2

November 26, 2018 -- Holiday Happenings Galore! Plus, don't forget that 14 teams and their fans will be traveling to the area to play in the OHSAA State Football Championships at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.

December 1: Cookie Crawl on Main Street Alliance. Enjoy a FREE cookie crawl and scavenger hunt at 16 shops on Main St in Downtown Alliance. All stops will have complimentary holiday cookies. 


December 1: Here Comes Santa! at Exploration Gateway. Visit with the big guy himself, make and take holiday crafts, see live animals, and enjoy cookies and milk at this FREE event from 10AM until 1PM. 


December 1: Lunch with Santa at the Bistro. Santa will be be visiting the Bistro the first three Saturdays im December to visit with all of the good boys and girls. 


December 1: A Christmas Tea at the Canton Women's Club. A traditional afternoon tea will be served while you enjoy the sounds of the holiday with live music.


December 1: Christmas on the Canal in Downtown Canal Fulton. Stroll the streets of historic downtown Canal Fulton in celebration of the holiday season.


December 1: A Vintage Christmas on 4th on 4th Street in Downtown Canton. Step a step back in time and take a nostalgic stroll down memory lane and start your holiday shopping early this year! 


December 1 & 2: Christmas at Clay's at Clay's Park & Resort. Start your evening at the North Pole, where you are able to park your sleigh and view Ohio’s only 5 story Christmas tree synchronized to music. Admission is $30 a carload. 


December 1: Sensory Cinema: The Polar Express  at Canton Palace Theatre. The holiday tradition continues with movies on Canton’s largest movie screen! FREE Admission. 


December 1 & 2: Christmas in Zoar in Historic Zoar Village. While in Zoar, makes sure to visit Belsnickel, Santa, and Kristkind, and take a horse-drawn wagon ride around the village.


December 2: Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides at Hoover Historical Center. Enjoy FREE admission to the Hoover Historical Center that will feature Santa to meet and greet photos with children of all ages! 


December 2: Holiday Celebration at Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center. Drop in between 3 and 6PM to celebrate the holiday season with the Nature Center. 


December 2: An Evening in the Village in Historic Downtown Hartville. Bounce around from open houses at the downtown shops sipping on cider and snacking on cookies, wagon rides, meet with Santa, bid on the silent auction items, listen to the choir and more!


December 2: Massillon Community Candlelight Walk in Downtown Massillon. Stroll and enjoy musical entertainment in eight historic downtown churches and four local community partners. Candle lighting ceremony and choral music at St. Mary Church at the end of the event. All FREE for you to enjoy.
