5 Things To Do This Weekend October 20-22

October 16, 2017- The days are still warm this year, way into mid-October! Make plans to enjoy one of these events---and remember to check out our full calendar of events on our website! Let's not forget about the GREAT golf weather!

1. Spooky Science | October 20 & 21 | Beech Creek Botanical Gardens

Not about Halloween!  Spooky Science is all about teaching people in a fun & creative environment about all the things in nature that can “Spook or Creep” them out, like spiders, snakes, and bats.

Mix up your own science experiments including glow-in-the-dark slime, create an owl mask, take a hay ride, dig up bones, watch the mad scientist, and get up-close with reptiles and woodland animals! Spooky Science is all about teaching people in a fun and creative environment about all the things in nature that can "spook or creep" you out, like spiders, snakes, and bats. Bring the whole family to celebrate the fall season at Beech Creek Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve. Admission is $8.00 per person, $6.00 per person for members, and ages 2 & under are free.

2. Dracula....The Ballet | October 20 & 21 | Canton Palace Theatre

Unleash your inner vampire. Dracula…the Ballet, a tale of hypnotic power, boundless love and mesmerizing horror returns by popular demand just in time for Halloween. This production presented by the Canton Ballet--has the power to intoxicated and capture the imagination like no other.  Performances are at 7:30PM and tickets start at $17. 

3. Kill on the Hill | October 20-22 | Spring Hill Historic Home

Another murder has happened at Spring Hill… but this one’s a little different. Join the Spring Hill Players in another Kill on the Hill and see if you can figure out who-dun-it. This performance is based on the classic Victorian horror novel, "Dracula" by Bram Stoker. All characters are original to the novel. Tickets are $15 per person and included performance and dessert. Call Spring Hill to make ticket reservations at 330-833-6749.

4. Downtown Canton Flea | October 21 | Canton Arts District

Perfect for the whole family, our Flea is on rain or shine in the heart of downtown Canton’s Arts District along Court Avenue NW in downtown Canton (between 6th Street & 3rd Street NW) AND it's the last Flea of the season!

Awaiting you at the Downtown Canton Flea are more than 50 vendors, offering art, crafts, antiques, handmade goods, vintage finds, farm fare, food & drink, collectibles and all kinds of crazy other stuff you won’t find anywhere else. It’s all for sale, all for you, all in one place. 

5. Fall Crawl | October 22 | Gervasi Vineyard

Join us for our fall wine and beer crawl! Stroll the grounds while making your way to all four stops and select a beer or wine taste from each stop on the crawl paired with a GV favorite bite.

All tickets are pre-sold, walk up tickets will not be available.

$29 PER PERSON (Adults Only)

Ticket Includes:

• Selection of 1 beer or wine along with a GV favorite bite at four stops

• Gervasi Logo Glass

• Winery Tour, available at the Crush House Stop from 1-3pm

• Turn in your completed passport at the Marketplace for a 20% off Discount! (exclusions apply)

Present your ticket and begin by registering at the Crush House to start your Crawl. We recommend you arrive by 3:30pm in order to ensure you can visit all of the stops.
