A FREE family-friendly event with live reggae music by Carlos Jones & The PLUS Band and children's activities from 6PM until 11PM. Purchase pulled pork or jerk chicken sandwiches with pineapple salsa, fruit, and more. The tropical bar will offer island drinks, Red Stripe and other beers, wine, and soft drinks for sale. MAPS (Military Aviation Preservation Society) Air Museum will be holding a Fly-In or Drive-In Summer Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, July 15, 2017. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The museum will be open until 4:30.Breakfast for adults is $10.00 and $5.00 for children under 12 which includes admission to the museum and parking. If you are flying in during the event, please call ahead. Enjoy eating pancakes surrounded by aircraft and other exhibits from WWII until the present day. Get Out & Play is a FREE family block party in Historic Downtown Hartville from 10AM to 3PM. Our streets and sidewalks turn into a giant playspace with tons of games and crafts for toddlers through pre-teens. This awesome day also includes a Touch a Truck, mascots, delicious eats, and a market of kid, health, and sport related items. It's AWESOME!
A rodeo for the whole family, from stick-horse races to bull riding! The Minerva Chamber Rodeo will feature the Buckeye Rodeo Company presenting Bareback Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Calf Roping, Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc Riding, and Team Roping. Mutton Busting preliminaries and Stick Horse Races (ages 3-11) will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the main event at 7 p.m. Mutton Busting finals and the Calf Scramble will take place during the rodeo. The rodeo will be followed at 9 p.m. by Tony Rio in concert on the Municipal Park Stage, sponsored by the Minerva Firemen's Association, which will also be hosting a beer garden. Beginning at 3 p.m., there will be food and commercial vendors, as well as kids' activities, in the park. Tickets at the gate will be $12 for adults and $6 for kids. Children age 5 and younger are admitted free.
