NATIONAL FLAG FOOTBALL AND PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME ACADEMY PRODUCED THE BIGGEST YOUTH FLAG EVENT IN HISTORY. 180 Flag Teams from around the country and world traveled to Canton, Ohio for the Championship Event.

Visit Canton's “Pigskin’s Pals” program will begin May 1, 2019. Members ages 2-12 receive a membership card that provides access to free, kid-friendly activities at area attractions and restaurants from May 1 through September 2, 2019.
Stark County, Ohio – Visit Canton and the Stark County Economic Development Board partnered to produce new videos promoting Stark County. The assets that attract travel and tourism to Stark County also appeal to businesses seeking a strong quality of life for their workforce. In need of new video to showcase those shared Stark County assets, Visit Canton and the Stark County Economic Development Board partnered to complete the project.
$303,250 in Arts & Cultural Tourism Grants has been awarded for the 2019 cycle. Funds earmarked for Arts & Cultural Tourism were awarded in the form of Community Partnership Grants ($70,250), Arts Support ($200,000), and ArtsinStark Marketing & Event Support ($33,000).
Visit Canton is excited to share the results from our latest economic impact study. Tourism continues to be a powerful force in Stark County with visitor spending up 2% to $1.2 billion in direct sales, and hotel room night demand in Stark County up 12% from 2016 to 2017.
