Zoar Civil War School Day

Overview

Throughout the village, learn how Zoar's Society of Separatists and citizens in the Union lived during the conflict.

Interact with famous figures of the Civil War such as Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln, John Parker, and more. Watch cavalry and artillery demonstrations, learn about life on the home front, and participate in hands-on activities.

This event is open to all public, private, and homeschool students. School and co-op groups can preregister by calling 330-874-3011 or emailing tshrum@zca.org.
Cost is $7 per student. One adult per student group is free, with each additional adult $7. Admission is free for all teachers and for children ages 4 and under. All proceeds go toward the preservation and educational efforts of Historic Zoar Village.
