Citizen Science: Spotted Lantern Fly Survey
October 14, 2024 10:00 AM –12:00 PM
Overview
Spotted lanternfly (SLF) is an invasive insect that has spread to Ohio over the past few years. SLF has yet to be found in Stark County and we want to make sure it stays that way! We will talk about signs and symptoms of SLF, then survey the surrounding natural areas south of the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railyard.
Bring appropriate clothing and footwear for hiking and binoculars if available. No restrooms available.
Sponsored by the Herbert W. Hoover Foundation.
